Health Services

Immunizations

We offer vaccine services for active duty, retirees and family members to include deployment and travel vaccines. Walk-in services are provided during normal business hours for routine vaccines. Please see Public Health prior to immunizations for required vaccinations regarding foreign travel. Smallpox appointments are available. This appointment may last an hour or two, to include a 45-minute briefing, therefore please plan accordingly. The allergy clinic is referral only, placed by in house provider. The purpose is to skin test patients for a variety of allergens including trees, cats, dogs, weeds, grasses, dust and molds. Based on these results a patient may be placed on allergy shots. Desensitization via allergy shots requires monthly shots for three to five years. Once referred you will be called to schedule the appointment on Thursday, 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Based on your appointment the technician will inform you what items to bring.

Influenza Vaccine Update

Flu season is upon us. We are concerned about your health and encourage everyone to get vaccinated annually against influenza.
It’s critical that everyone who is able receives a flu vaccine. It’s essential that active duty service members, active duty family members and other beneficiaries are well-protected from influenza.
Please see the guidance below for getting the flu vaccine here at Patrick AFB.
  • We have received another shipment of flu vaccines and are ready to provide immunizations to all our beneficiaries ages 6 months and up.
  • If you haven’t received your yearly influenza vaccination yet, please come to the 45th Medical Group (45 MDG) Immunizations Clinic for a free walk-in influenza vaccination.
